As a Lighting Designer I seem to look at the world through light and shadow.  I see how light plays and reflects, and how it causes different looks and atmospheres, whether it is natural or man made.  Light is something that is natural.  It’s something that you can’t hold on to.  Somehow it can change a person’s mood in an instant.  I love being a Lighting Designer.  I love taking that natural element and manipulating it to fit the stage.  I love recreating what I have seen out in the real world.
